My First Book
Hello you wonderful people! I hope you’ve had a happy day today. I am so nervous writing this.
I launched my first book on Amazon today and am sharing the bts( i guess) with you. It is probably the first project I have completed. It was an idea I had in lockdown and I started working on it, and now so many years later, it is on Amazon.
Honestly, I won't call myself a writer or even an author, I am just someone who enjoys writing and uses Grammarly all the time. I don't think actual authors do that. But what I do know is, I write with a purpose. And, that purpose is to make whoever is kind enough to read my words feel happy. So my book is just an attempt to make you happy.
I have been lucky enough to meet people like Koustubh, Tanisha, Resham, Sourav, and Vardhan who have genuinely taught me how to believe in myself. So, whatever work I put out there, a major chunk of credit will always go to them, because they made me believe that I had some kind of potential in me. And for that, I will always be grateful.
I learned a lot in this process and a massive lesson would be - just create. Whatever it is. Don’t worry about how good or bad it is, how perfect it is, if it makes you happy - just do it.
When I saw Shubhangi and Varun post their work, I was so proud of them and they’ve genuinely inspired me to finally muster the courage to post my work.
When it comes to a support system I am hands down the luckiest girl alive. To the person who laughs at me while I cry and claps for me when I do something, who asks me to flaunt it on LinkedIn and my resume, I’m so grateful. Are you proud of meee?
Hahaha, anyway, i hope you all have an amazing day, and thank you so much for reading my words. It truly means a lot!
Love you loads!
